What the free edition leaves out
The free edition is genuinely usable, but some team or enterprise features need a paid plan. “Not confirmed” means the official pages we read did not state it, so we do not guess.

Best for
Teams that want an open-source survey and feedback tool they can self-host with unlimited responses and users.
Why choose it over Typeform
Community self-hosting has unlimited responses and users with full API access, and the AGPL-3.0 code can be inspected and self-hosted commercially. Data stays on your own infrastructure.
Where it falls short
Community is limited to one workspace, and teams and roles, SSO and SAML, and audit logs need a paid Enterprise license. Self-hosting now needs a multi-service stack, heavier than a typical form tool. Private (non-AGPL) forks need Enterprise. Feature parity with Typeform's form builder has not been assessed.
