What the free edition leaves out
Scroll sideways to view all columns →The free edition covers the features teams usually need; we found nothing important held back. “Not confirmed” means the official pages we read did not say, so we do not guess.

| Audit logs | Not confirmed | Not mentioned in the README or on the commercial support page. | Source ↗ |
| Multi-user / teams | Not confirmed | Users, roles and locked users are listed in the README; no user limit or paid tier is described. | Source ↗ |
| Backups and restore | Free | The README lists scheduled backups and continuous real-time backups among its options. | Source ↗ |
| API access | Not confirmed | The README does not document a REST API. | Source ↗ |

Best for
Teams and individuals who want a Trello-style Kanban board on their own server under a permissive license.
Why choose it over Trello
The code is MIT licensed and the project says it has no proprietary code, so paid offerings are support, hosting and funded development rather than locked features. Login via SAML, LDAP and OAuth2, roles, scheduled backups and several install methods (Docker, Kubernetes, Snap, Sandstorm, desktop bundles) are listed in the README.
Where it falls short
It is a Kanban board, not a full planning tool like Jira. The hosted SaaS has a paid tier with an admin panel, and commercial support has no formal SLA: replies are usually the same or next work day and ordered features may take months or years. The README does not document a REST API. The favicon the site provides is only 24 by 24 pixels.
